Our Illinois Arborist Association NW Urban and Community Forestry Forum had a great workshop this week. We were out in Milan Il at the Stella Sawmill location. Scott Carlson BCMA spoke on Fruit tree pruning and Dave Miller of advantage tree care went through planting procedures. It was well attended and seems to be a popular class. I think I will try to hold this class or a variant of it every year from now on.
